About Bharat Bhavan Foundation

Bharat Bhavan Foundation, a secular non-profit charity, was founded in 1984 to promote social, economic, educational, cultural, and spiritual development of its members and community at large. Seeking out inspiration from the life and work of Mahatma Gandhi, the foundation has dedicated itself to service the less fortunate people of the society, particularly the new immigrants.

The Foundation strives to promote the principles of non-violence, religious tolerance and mutual respect, encourage social integration and family harmony, and maintain network of social service centers for the community.

The Foundation provides services to all members of the South Asian community and aspire to be the role model for secularism and tolerance in the Canadian Society.
